Hello All

Been on the boards a few weeks now as a bit of a 'lurker' - watching what goes on but not joining in (until now?).

I'm a BSAC sports diver, started diving last year and now have logged the grand total of 25 ow dives (24 uk, 1 disastrous dive in Madeira).

Based in leafy Hertfordshire, but originally from the red rose county (by way of Glasgow and London ........ I've never really stayed in one place for very long).

I have lots of ideas for kit configuration, and reading the posts can be a bit daunting. I've decided to adopt DIMW (do it my way - as long as I feel comfortable with it) for the time being.

Hi.

Leafy Herts, eh. Don't worry, with global warming the sea will be getting closer and closer to you so you won't have too far to travel for a dive.

Aclivity,

Welcome aboard mate. Ask away on any subject, you're bound to get a broad spectrum of opinions and info from which you can take and use as you see fit. Get in amongst it.

Steve W - I saw the ACCLIVITY in a dive mag recently; yup, gotta go sometime. It's not where I got my domain name from .... my surname is Hill, and an Aclivity is a slope, incline or hill .....

I was up in the Farne Islands at the weekend, couldn't get it on the itinerary though.

Hi mate

If you want to dive some quality wrecks out of Dover give me a shout do@canterburydivers.org.uk as an SD you can do all but a few of our wrecks 300 in the 25 to 35m range.

Finless - If Herts is under threat, Bexhill is a quality dive site.

Regards

Paul
