Hi all

Am a fairly newly qualified diver but cant get enough of it.  Have PADI deep diver specialty but am less sure of the value of PADI certifications atm - maybe thats wrong of me though.

Am in Yorkshire and want to dive.  I figured there might be some similar people here

Cheers

<font color='#000080'>Think you've come to the right place here &nbsp;

So welcome.. &nbsp;Guess I know what you mean by the PADI certifications. &nbsp;Some are good, some not so useful &nbsp;

The Rescue diver course is very very good and worthwile (Usual caveat about the quality dependant on the instructor teaching it &nbsp; )

Hi Idle,

Welcome to YD! (can't believe I've beaten Bren to be first to welcome someone on board! &nbsp; )
I'm not a Yorshire type, I'm one of the ever growing Southern Brigade, but you'll find plenty of whippet lovers about on here and up for a dive...

Have Fun,
Dave.

<font color='#000080'>Actually Dave I have noticed a distinct lack of postings from Bren over the last few days.

I think the jammy bugger is off on his hols he mentioned to the Red Sea.

Daz

Idle - For Information, &nbsp;Bren is the resident welcoming commitee, &nbsp;it works on the basis that if he doesn't put you off then you'll probably be alright with the rest of us. &nbsp;

I just got back from the Red Sea on Monday. &nbsp;Back to the exciting world of work and traffic and shopkeepers who dont want to sell you things quite so badly...

I took my camera in a casing - some of the shots turned out ok for a first try. &nbsp;Lots to do differently next time though.

I'll post a link to the gallery (if people are interested at all) once i've finished filtering out some blueness...

Steve

Idle

Welcome to the board. &nbsp;Almost neighbours, I hail from 'ull just a hop, skip and a jump eastwards along the M62.

Get in touch if you are up for some diving. &nbsp;We may even be able to use that deep dive specialty of yours!
