| Hi All from Essex I have been browsing the forum long enough and thought it was about time I made myself official. I am an inexperianced (50 + dives) AOW, but have been lucky enough to dive some fantastic sites in Oz, Maldives & Red Sea. Until the last year I had been a typical holiday diver, but now am looking to do a lot more UK diving. I am planning to do my rescue diver course in the next month under the instruction of my neice & partner who have a dive shop nearby (will not mention name or location as am not here to advertise). I am looking at maybe going to the Andaman Islands in the next six months so if anyone has any info or tips let me know. As I said I have browsed the forum as a guest and have found the info on here valuable and interesting. |

| Welcome to the world of posting on YD. RD next month eh, inland or sea based course?? I'd get a drysuit too if I were you. Wetsuit will probably be ok but you'll get cold during the surface based stuff and if you intend to UK dive then a drysuit is (IMHO) very much a neccesity and not a luxury. Most people I know dive drysuit all year round, even during the 'summer' months. But whatever, have a great time and some great dives. Rgds Matt |
