Hi, I am a Newbie again First dived UW in a swimming pool in my army barracks (you know the ones which put too much chlorine in the water). It was in the blood basically and after harbouring an interest for sometime completed by PADI in some god forasaken gravel bit near Brum, headed to Egypt and apart from chronic nose bleeds UW had a great time.
After that my interest became exponential. I went to tech training school in Sharm and became really hooked and moved onto Rebreathers. Around this time I kept seeing the name Yorkshire Divers appear on Google, never even thought about online communities before that. After registering I developed an immediate addiction and affinity with YD and the members. Did'nt stop me having a few rucks before I think I finally started to get the hang of this YD malarky. Now I help Jay, Andy out by keeping the peace (along with the other mods) and a few techie bits here and there. All are brilliant guys, extremely funny and nice to talk to.
Since joining I check in everyday, provide what time I can and keep up with the happenings and lives of all those who choose to be part of our wonderful dive community.
