Christmas Dive Lectures

Not quite sure if I’m allowed to do this on this forum, and as I’m new to this, please let me know if this notice is not appropriate and I’ll stop!

For those of you that may be interested, there will be a series of diving lectures in Bristol (11th Dec), Exeter (12th Dec) and West London (14th Dec).

The main lecture will be given by Monty Halls, and will talk about the various escapades involved in filming the latest series of Great Ocean Adventures. This includes footage of the team encountering Humboldt squid, humpback whales, beluga whales, thresher sharks and all manner of diving environments around the world.

Supporting Monty will be Chris Holt, an ex bomb disposal diver with some fairly exhilarating tours of Iraq, Bosnia and Northern Ireland under his belt. He has all manner of rather unpleasant stories about life at the sharp end.

The Bristol one is at The Thistle Hotel on the 11th December; no confirmed location yet for Exeter, but the West London one is at The Southern Cross, Parson's Green on the 14th December. All start at 7:30pm, but doors are open from 6pm so you can have a drink first. There may be a small admission fee and there will be a paying bar so you can have a drink with the guys afterwards.
