well if you like the puddles then the DIR route it is

as frosty said theres nothing wrong with puddles, like there is nothing wrong with VALUE beans if you cant get HP

Yazzy, i have nothing against Capernwray but if you had the choice of going in a bloody big hole in the ground followed by sitting on a beach would you prefer that beach to be in a) Irish Sea or b) Carribean?

Not sure what other info i can give; i apparently speak like micheal caine when drunk does that count?

I have to say i don't just do quarry's. Although I have yet to do the sea around here yet. I'd love to get out there but with xmas and stuff. So my plan is in the new year to get out there. Either with my club (next ocean dive May 2 weeks before my wedding - could be a tricky one to sell to partner) or find some other suitably qualified people.

DIR = Doing It Right, an american system of diving that has its origins with some cave divers.

You need to find a real club, just as well you joined YD gerbil. Now keep an eye on these forums:

and get yourself out in the sea. OK, the the weather is a bit lousy at the moment, but no reason why you can't get out any time after Christmas now the winds have started to calm a bit.

That's one of the things that YD is all about - going diving with others. In fact, it was the reason YD was set up in the first place. So, go get wet and enjoy.

So which Huddersfield BSAC club are you in, there were at least 3 if not four at last count. Can't be ours (BSAC 18), because we dive in the sea all seasons, especially our christmas trip to St Abbs so if you want to defect get in touch. I am also an agency tart and there are a few people in our club who trained with PADI before BSAC. So you would be at home.

Jules, i am indeed in BSAC18 - I think you and i had a chat a couple of weeks back about; Moving North, Emley Moor Mast and the White Hart Mitcham (and your underage drinking - i told my dad and he says your barred). If it wasnt you i had the conversation with then none of thats going to make the slightest sense

Ok i'm sure there are dives that i can go on before May, and i need to look on the web site, i need to clean my room and i really should do what i'm paid for before they sack me.
