| Hi Caroline I live just up the road from you. Shark Scuba in Colchester often arrange trips to inland sites and that would give you a route into UK diving ... and if you are really unlucky I may tag along too!! If you've not been diving for a while why not come along to one of the pool sessions and do a review or just have a splash? HTH Mal |

I tend to go to Stoney Cove or Guildenburg ..... they are murky, cold and the vis often not so great but on the plus side you are guaranteed to get a dive and whilst getting back into diving are really useful because there is not the time pressure that a boat has. In the summer midweek they can be really nice days out .... the weekends tend to be a bit hectic. Shark Scuba often do midweek two day trips in the Summer and they are fine in a semi dry .... you are right though about this time of year ..... a drysuit is pretty essential By May time it will still be cold but just about doable in a semi dry so if you are interested, drop me a line and I am sure we'll sort something out.
