| first time okay I am a PADI diver so far. ( i have their reque diver course and feel this is about wheree training should start ) I am looking for better training and information. At this time I plan to remain a recreational diver but am atracted to some of the tech diver/dir systems and equipment. what is the best sorce of inforamation traing that you lot could recommand. Any suggested reading? Oh I live in canada so that may color your answers and what I can use from them. |

| Yep there is a DIR specific forum and also technical forums here so that may well be a good place to start. I think we have a few YD members in Canada if my memory serves me correctly one is called Pretty Flowers although i havnt seen her posting much recently. Anyway welcome to YD I'm sure you will find plenty of info and advice here |

That's when you go looking for extra training to fill in the holes and to take you to places you couldn't go before. Rescue is good. That tools you up as a safe diver. Now you need experience of making your own decisions. Anything I might suggest from there just tries to turn you into me and you're not me. There is a huge range of diving experience out there - go discover your niche. |
