Hi Everybody...
Hi All,

My wife and I have been diving for about a year now, and are totally hooked!! (surprise). Well, I have been constantly browsing the interweb for new kit, advice, ideas, etc.....and have come across YD! There are some quite funky discussions going on, and its all quite helpful, so thought I'd join in!

We are both AOW, have dived only in Wraysbury (UK-for training), and also in the Med and Red Sea...with 21 dives to date.

We have our full kit now, but need advice on next steps, ie dry suit training (pool? pond?), join a club for £150, and get the training free, etc (head hurts).

Also, i like the vyper/gekko thread, as I am still unsure. we have 1 Vyper, but need another computer, so i'll just join the threads and see what occurs!!

Based in Surrey, but Yorkshire bred!

Well....funky was just the first word that came to mind!! Maybe educated, helpful...or just plain entertaining??

Saying that, what with all the money I've spent recently (flippin dive shows, eh?), I fully expect the whole dive experience to be funked to the max...with bells! (silent one's obviously)

As for the drysuit training... you pays your money and makes your choice... but it HAS to be done if you want to get some dives in the UK... okay, doesn't HAVE to be done... but the dives may be very short ones if you don't!
