Greetings from wintery Manitoba!! It's only -27 today so I should feel like I'm in the banana belt! LOL
Name's Tom and I'm a PSD/POLICE diver here in Canada and I also instruct SCUBA. I'm our teams Training Officer and most people think I've taken on more than enough, but what the hell, IT KEEP'S ME IN THE WATER, and out of the cars!!!!
I'm also a member of I A D R S and THE PSD Assn., I'm planning a UK trip this summer so what better place to make new dive buddies than on a UK dive site!!!! I also enjoy a good laugh and a good beer so I guess I'm not that much of an old stick in the sh_t as some say.

When l first read your post l thought it read 27 deg not -27deg.

l visited Canada for the first time last december, it was -15 deg c in Montreal and l thought that was bad enough.

This is the best thing about YD, to be able to go almost anywhere in the UK and dive with people with local knowledge of the site.
