I'm fairly new to diving yes.. I'm a OW and Nitrox diver, with only a handful of dives under my belt. Had a little accident on my last dive and spent some time in the pot... So not diving at the moment until i've had my pfo test. Hopefully soon.. i miss diving!!!

Not really sure to be honest, think it was a combo of being cold, not drinking much fluids, being very nervous (first drift dive) and the hot shower after...
Nothing really happened on the dive, had a safety stop etc.. but as soon as i broke surface i had tingling everywhere.. and felt very sick.. then having the hot shower... so no hope for me!!

Hot showers aren't recommended, but if you had tingling when you surfaced, the shower could have made it worse. Dehydration is probably one of the biggest causes of DCI.

Glad to here you got sorted out though.
