Greetings from sunny Costa Rica
After reading a few threads, I wanted to introduce myself to this community.

Some of the best diving I have done was off of the coast near playa CoCo. Amazing reefs and great assortments of fish. The water is crystal clear and the conditions are perfect to dive. I just came back from Belize and dove off of the coast of San Pedro Island. It was nice, but not like Costa Rica.

I look forward to sharing adventures with other forum members.

Nothing to brag about. I was hoping for some old school pirate ships off of belize and was disappointed.

there are many wrecks here but some are deep and the summer is short.
i was thinking of a move this year.
tell me about the medical and education system over there.

Nice to know you gobfish1.

Mala.

The education system is great. There is no army, so they spend a good majority of their funds on education.95% literacy rate, English widely spoken.

In regards to health, Costa Rica has some of the best medical centers in Central America. Many North Americans come here for care.

Welcome Richard,

I spent three weeks in Costa Rica for my honeymoon and we had some amazing diving. I loved the place and have been meaning to get back there ever since.
