Smile Greetings From Phuket !
Hello everyone on the YD forums.

I began my diving in the military back in 1970 with my first overseas posting on the Thai / Cambodian border. This was the beginning of my love affair with the Thai people, their way of life and of course Thai food. I have returned many times for diving work and pleasure since back then and my Instructor wife Megumi and I have lived and worked at our own divecenter in Phuket for the last 12 years. After our last long term stop of 9 years living and working in many locations in the Carribean Islands we have returned to Thailand and have plans to retier here in Phuket ending our years as Instructor gypsies.

Feel free to ask any questions that you may have about Phuket or West Coast diving and if you are in our area lets get together to share a large and cold localy made brew.

Hello All !

Thanks for the nice welcome from some of you more senior posters and I may be new to this particular forum but I am definately a senior when it comes to bottom time.

Richard: Not sure if you can say that I am "Living The Life" and although we are childless by choice we continue to feel pleased with the "Lifestyle" we decided on so many years ago.

Adrian: I'm happy being just a plain old Richard and back home in Canada unlike the US, it is very uncommon to be refered to as "Dick"
