[Deep Divers Hrg]

Hi all, being originally from Bedford (now you know why I moved way) I have now been living in Egypt full time for five years+. Made the move as DM from Tenerife (Atlantic Divers when it was Mick & Nicky) to Egypt (Makadi then Hurghada). When from DM to OWSI/MSDT then managed three centers and now my wife and I are partners in Deep Divers in Hurghada.

I have to admit my intention here is to ask members and guests about connections to UK diving clubs, I personally am fed up with Travel Agencies taking huge chunk's of commission from Dive Centers globally in exchange for their guests which then affects quality that the dive centers can offer because all (and we know its not huge!) the profit from any dive center is gone!

This is my biggest pet peeve about the Dive business in general, I approach one agency and they want me to take their guest diving, transfer them and feed them for 17$ per day! no thanks!

So we have decided that no/little profit and a quality center is the preferred route for our center's, but along with this as I said we want to connect directly to any clubs/instructor's directly and would rather pass the discounts on to them and the direct paying guests!

After the moan I have to say moving from the UK was the best move I ever made!!!

ps we are also a 5 Star IDC so if anyone is interested to move their IDC's to Hurghada
