| Introduction of a retired diver... Hello all, I don't know if this is where I am supposed to introduce myself (the forum does not make this very clear, unless you are familiar with "forum speak"). I am now retired from diving, very reluctantly, due to angina, resulting in a heart bypass. So I have at last, after 2 years of denial, decided to sell my gear. I've got loads of it, though most will need testing and servicing, but it will be cheap, so might be worth buying. Now I have NOT listed it here, because I can't see where you list items for sale on this forum - or even if you do. I don't want to inadvertantly break any rules. If anybody is interested in dive gear, books, charts, etc., accumulated over many years of diving (and a spell as a BSAC Area Coach), contact me for details. Or look for Scuba gear in the Marketplace on Facebook - you'll find me. Anyway apart from that, it is great to see such a thriving forum for divers, particularly as it is based in Yorkshire. I have a great fondness for the Yorkshire coast, having done my first sea dive on the Canada off Withernsea in 1976 (whilst a member of Grimsby BSAC), and having run loads of trips off that coast, many in my own RIB. I still dream about the wrecks I have dived and have yet to dive off that coast. You don't know how lucky you are.... |

| Hi Peetoki, a warm welcome to YD, sorry to hear of your retirement and good luck for the future. Regards, Steve P.S. here's the section for gear sales http://www.yorkshire-divers.com/foru...sonal-adverts/
