Yes that is the one - Divenutz. They certainly would not get my recommendation! I will PM you further details but I am a firm believer that for forums to work it is important to name the good and the bad and for me they definitely fall into the latter category. I don’t want to sound like a complainer on my third ever YD post and I have certainly never come across a dive shop or centre (in the UK) before that has caused me any concern but unfortunately the same cannot be said for Divenutz. Re diving in the UK if you want any tips or sympathy then let me know. As I said I only began diving in the UK last year and it came as a bit of a shock to me – it does get better though Kx |

Yes you are - in May, being a bit of a wimp I am hoping for a drastic temperature improvement by then I am looking forward to the course though. I spent last year just getting used to UK diving and this year my aim is to try and get better at it with a bit of help! Kx |

| The Good, The Bad and The.... Little Mermaid, Thanks for your reply - see your PM's I agree - as long as people are open-minded, forums like these should not shy away from recounting experience with dive shops/schools both good and bad - its a minefield out there for the dive newbies like me! I am slightly nervous about UK diving - only because I want to enjoy it so much!! I know initially my expectations will have to be managed carefully I guess its the downside of being spoilt learning to dive in the caribbean and Oz!! (guessing there may not be much sympathy out there anymore!! ) |

| With hindsight I wish I had learnt to dive in the UK and I envy people who have because I think it prepares you for anything where as learning to dive in clear blue water that is a constant 30 degrees, prepares you for just that - perfect conditions really. That being said it is simply time and experience that makes any conditions easier and there are great things to see in the UK (so i'm told - ha ha!). |
