| Hi everyone! Thought I'd say hi now that I've joined the site - I've recently got properly into UK diving after spending the last 7 or 8 years diving in nice warm, clear water abroad and this site seems to be place to talk about it all! When I went to uni in Durham I discovered the SAC didn't exist so a group of us re-started it which gave me my share of dives Capernwray and the Farnes. We ran a regular summer trip to Dahab in Egypt which is a great place that I love. I've since done some more diving in Australia and NZ (wow - Bay of Islands in the North and Milford Sound in the South, amazing!) and am now a member of the SAA club 69 Divers SAC in Reigate, Surrey. So now I'm doing almost exclusively UK diving on the South Coast - the last couple have been with Steve Johnson on the Channel Diver out of Brighton. I'm initially PADI trained to OW, AOW and Nitrox, plus SSI Stress & Rescue and now a crossover to SAA Club Diver - hopefully I'll be completing my Dive Leader soon too. I'm currently diving in an Otter Skin laminate drysuit, Mares fins, a Scubapro X-Tec wing & harness with a manifolded set of twin 12's and two Scubapro Mk20's with a G250 on a short hose and an R190 on a long hose. So that's me! Pete Last edited by incapete : 01-07-08 at 08:48 AM. |
