| No money in diving. If there was we'd all be at it. I've sent you a PM about sales though. In diving jobs you don't climb through the ranks, you climb out of the water, and further from diving. If you want to dive for a living you stay relatively low in the food chain. Digs. |

| its not so much in diving. I would be happy as a sales rep, or anything else. i think really when i posted this I knew what the answer was going to be just needed somebody to confirm it. The PM you sent me Dig didn't say what it was doing? I am interested in looking though definitely send me some details. |

| I'll send another PM. But yes, there's plenty who will confirm it for you here. Some of whom have actually tried it for a while Digs. |

| I'm in my third year of doing it as my main job and I am so much poorer. But enjoying it a lot more than my old day job!

| I think the thing is that Diving will never make you city-boy rich. Well, not unless you happen to discover a massive sackload of gold. Or unless you work as a commie diver but even then the money's not great any more. However, I dunno about you, but I'd rather be poor, but totally happy, than rich and sad. Follow your heart - for it is only then you will know what makes you truly happy. |

| JUST AN EXAMPLE FOR YOU No ! I know of a UK dive school that pays its staff in 'credits' that are redeemable in their shop.........how do you make a living from that!!!!!!! |

| Ever met a rich ski instructor? It's very hard to make money doing what people love doing. You tend to get paid for doing what others cannot or don't want to do. In my experience, you can only get paid for what you can do WHILE you are diving.
