I am teaching Floridian style backmounts and as a result tend to use disused mines as it makes teaching easier. I know that students find it hard to find buddies etc in UK so a number of them still rock up when I am teaching at places like Hodge and the Silica Mines. Dates and course details are on the web at DeepTech - Homepage. Guy

i am surprised you haven't been on here before as there seems to be a strong undertone of people interested in caving/cavern courses

That's all well and good but have you done the PADI Deep Diver speciality course?

Welcome to YD.

More to the point, a dry suit speciality ! Do you remember that thread where a guy with ADN trimix, been diving for years etc. suddenly couldn't test his drysuit in the pool 'cos he didn't have a cert?

Can't remember who that was

Sorry Guy, but it keeps your thread current

I recollect when a club member (Throbbin) joined another club and was asked to do some pool skills to verify he was a diver and that he could 'cross over' as a baby diver and do some courses .............. I don't think he hit the bloke but Throbbin and his CCR went home feeling highly offended!
