Hello all, I am a new member and thought it polite to introduce myself using the format already in use.

Name: Armpit with eyes.

Age: 44.

Location :East Anglia.

First Qualified: 1990 PADI/BSAC.

Club Member Never got round to doing this.

Highest Diving Qualification: I was a dive master once

What other training have you found most rewarding:All the diving courses I have been fortunate to attend although I try to learn something new each day.

What’s your standard dive and kit: Single 12, backplate and drysuit.

Where do you usually Dive; The sea off Lowestoft.

Number of Dives: Not Sure, but this highlights a need to update my logbook when I find it.

Deepest Dive; 40 mtr.

Longest Dive: Mostly around 40 mins.

Favourite Dive: Any solo dive.

Worst Dive:Any time I am cold.

What dive/trip would you most like to do: Cave diving.

What ONE other question should I have included?
What is your favourite after dive snack and my answer would have to be anything that can tolerate a large dollop of tomatoe sauce.

Dive 125 usually go up to Lowestoft for a week a year, or have in the past.

Thanks everyone for the welcome, the diving off Lowestoft is seasonal, best done on the slack, shot the wreck, clip the down line, and more often than not fudge around a wreck not often dived. But when the viz is in I could not think of a more glorious place to be especially at night. You are dependent on establishing a relationship with local trawlerman/lobsterman who are very experienced with a vast local knowledge. There are no real commercialdive boat operations due to the short season and weather conditions.

Hi Steven, there are a number of launch sites.I have never dived this area from a RIB only from hardboats. There are local dive clubs and dive stores although I have never dived with them, who are all friendly enougth and would be able to give better advice than me especially regarding that "political" hot potatoe launching.
