Talking Potential date for try dive ...

Following the exceptionally warm welcome last night, you lot made me consider setting a date to go and try this thing out for myself.

So ... I'm hoping to persuade DiveChuck04 to take me for a try dive next Sunday (28th.) Watch this space!

Any tips/advice/words of wisdom for a first timer? What do I need to know in advance?

If it's a try-dive in a pool, take a t-shirt to prevent the BCD chafing, and also to help keep a bit warmer.

Depending on whether you're in a group or as a 1:1 there may be periods where you're not swimming around much and you'll potentially get a bit chilly if you're not moving around much.

Besides that, I'd just recommend enjoying it!

I've had this discussion with someone else.

NEXT Sunday must surely be the NEXT one to arrive. Not the one after it?

For example, if you ask someone "when is the next train?" surely they are going to advise you about the very next train to arrive at the station and not the one after it?

Trust the person with you and do what they say - then you can R E L A X and really enjoy it - you will always remember the first time you think "blimey, I'm under water, and I'm breathing". Good luck.
