Introduction

HELLO

Qualified under the stern Teutonic gaze of Werner Lou himself back in 1996. Allthough having well over 100 dives,A.O.W. , dived North and South Red Sea and dive Maldives every year I have a terrible confession to make!
I have never dived in the U.K.
So,a self confessed "Soft Southern Wussy Diver" who must, one day get his ass in gear and check out some of the Poole dive sites on his doorstep.

Welcome to YD and enjoy.

Definitely give UK diving a try, you might just enjoy it Don't be fooled by the membership on YD, you don't have to be mad to enjoy UK diving (It does help though!)

Does your YD name mean you're prepared to dive the same hole twice?

Hi Reef Hook

Once you get a taste for it its as good as warm water, and it's here. It's a more demanding and skill challenging environment, a shut down drill after 6 or 7 pints is a nightmare, so make sure you have about 8, and then you are quite calm about the whole thing. And you can be narked in the car park practising for a 50m plop!

The social side to YD is excellent too and believe it or not, most make the dive the next day and are fine to do so, if not, they just relax and wait for the afternoon one.
