| Extras needed for a KISS With mine I added cylinders X 2 contents Gauges X 2 O2 cells X3 Wing and back plate BCD and dry suit inflate hoses. Thats all needed to get going, I'm starting to play arround a bit but nothing too serious. From what I understand the sports KISS is complete and ready to dive except adding a bit of gas. Fin |

| Wing (a number will work, the Agir Brokk #38 is perfect) Harness (up to you, I use the same setup for OC/CC) O2 Sensors (x3 R22D's are fine) Cylinders x 2 (3L dumpies are ideal) HP Hoses & Guages (x2, hose routing is user preference, I run 36" over the top, under arms and clipped together at front) Anything else is personal choice add on...... /Zak

| Have a look at this thread - I think I covered most of the extra items that we wanted for our KISS units (most of which are 'nice-to-haves'). Natasha and I also have the Oxycheq wing designed for the KISS, can't quite remember how much they were, and on which we replaced the inflator hose with something a little longer. Only thing we want now is a second set of dumpy 3l cylinders, but they seem to be in short supply at the moment. And it might just be that the 'French KISS' replacement displays and computer will be released on Wednesday - hurrah! rgds Robert |

| Cool I was under the impression you had to buy the first stages & all the other hoses as well. You guys wouldn't happen to know if the Dive Rite Classic wing is a good choice (fingers crossed)? |

| classic works, but its a little long on the original alu case. I dived with one for about 14 months on mine.

Some nice piccies on that thread, looks like I'd be having fun finding the right home for all those o-rings. O, well sure my other half won't mind a bit The import costs etc were very useful, but like yourself I dare not add them up, I gave that game up long ago (5 drysuits later, + far too many toys to mention). Just got to convince myself this is the way to go. I'm half tempted with AP's Vision but I think thats more of a toy craving.. |

| I did add it all up It was just over 3.5K all in but I did get the extras off ebay. That included the now mandatory training so I was plesantly supprised as I'd expected to pay an extra grand Fin BTW. Best money I've spent in a long time Realy starting to get the hang of it now. Turbonator was there on day 3 of the training when it couldhave been for sale for £50 in the stoney car park having got through 4 fills of lime for 2.5 hours dive time. I'm up to about 10 hours and feeling very comfy with it (comfy and I hope not complacent!) which reminds me must do a trip report...................TBC |

£3.5K inc training! Bloomin 'ell that's not bad. How's that work them, do the instructors get the unit cheaper or give away free courses? Dave |
