| Kiss Contents Gauges Where do people clip and how do you route the hoses? I've tried running them up inside the housing, over the shoulder and clipping them to the LH and RH shoulder d-ring, which is neat, but I find it hard to read the buggers as the breathing hose is in the way. Any suggestions? r Paul

| Thanks Zak, I'll give it a go, I can't remember how long they are at the moment.

| Mine go ............up the inside of the case, over the shoulders and tuck through the loops to hold the wing inflators inplace. They just sort of sit there waiting to be looked at. I think they are 36" hoses but not definate. Fin |

| Have heard of this, but tbh consider myself far too inexperienced to do so. At the moment I need to know how much gas I'm using throughout a dive. Like a lot of things, it's something that I won't really begin to consider until I'm used to the 'breather. r Paul

| My arms? I suppose it could make the routing easier..... Personally I want to see how much gas is in each, I've heard the counter arguments, but I dont buy them.

| I use the SPGs as part of my pre-dive checks - pressurise O2, switch off & do a test breathe while it's bleeding down - a timed bleed-down of 50 bar and a stable enough PO2 tell you that your O2 side is diveable. Similarly pressurise Dil side, switch off and check for any movement on the guage that could indicate issues with ADV, OC DSV or other on-board gas connections. Plus it's nice to have something to point at & p!ss off any OC divers on the team during deco (BTW, AP hoses, up c/lungs, over shoulders & snoopy looped to harness shoulder straps) |
