| Kiss off board gas. Ok, I may have misinterpreted Martin my instructor, but I don't think so Us Kiss guys don't have the CLs around the front, so can't really put in the extra inflator that Inspo guys have. However, I'm sure Martin said that you can have a hose that is the 'male' end of a suit inflator, this screws into one of the manifold ports, then you can have a 'normal' hose on your OC bailout that could be connected to the DIL side of the RB (after turning off the DIL cylinder). So, if I've got this right, does anyone know where I can get one? IIRC ND used to have a suit inflator that was like an airgun that inserted into a hole on the inflator of the suit - would this work? I'd want the hoses the way around as described, and with normal wing inflate fittings rather than a special QC so that I could plug it into my wing or suit should I need to (tho' may not have to if they are all connected to the manifold) Experienced RB guys - feel free to say, 'You should think Closed Circuit', I've not long finished training and am now at a point where every 5 mins I get a question that I should ask Martin, but he's not always here TIA Paul

| My philosophy for the KISS is that for the diving I do with it (open water, 80m ish max) I can easily carry enough OC gas to get me out without being bent stupid. Even more so if you include buddy's gas and deco station gas, and if I've had a RB problem and lost my deco gas and missed both of those I just hope the pot fixes me up enough that I can start playing golf So adding extra complexities like pluggable off board gas seems to go against the KISS principal. Naturally YMMV! It's all down to failure analysis - what problem are you trying to fix, and are you fixing a symptom or a cause? From your DIR days an analogy would be someone carrying a pony in case they run out of gas... just my .02c Keith |

male end goes into what you want to feed gas (this had a one way valve in) female end is then you gas supply this is the one you have many of |

| yeah i have have my gcs running into my manifold so that i can have all my gas coming form an off board bottle, it is handy on deep dives for doing gas switches on the unit, this has proved to be a very effective system for me,
