Kiss valve

I am about to start a conversion of an IDA 71. , and so looking for a kiss valve if anyone has one laying around gathering dust? Any thoughts also about the Hydrogom (it can be seen here)

I bought this valve from them, it's a very well made piece of kit and Jeroen, the guy who makes them, was very helpful in supplying whatever fitting I wanted on the end of the hoses supplied with it at no extra cost.

Only downside was he didn't take credit card, only bank transfer which kind a had me woried but all turned out well.

Best of luck with it.

That sounds good. How much did the valve with fitting cost? Did he supply it with hoses?

Zepp,
If you cant get a second hand kiss valve, then the most cost effective way for you to get one, is to ask Gordon to bring one over and pick it up at the dive show.
BTW the current Kiss valves from Jetsam are now moulded plastic bodies, not stainless bodies. However i can tell you that they are strong. Dropping a twinset onto it by mistake was not recomended, but mine still works fine.

HTH

I paid 395 euros, that was for the valve and filter, the 2 standard hoses and 2 adapters and shipping.

Got one of those Hydrogoms on its way now. thanks all for the input
Just got to get down and start building Now......... Where do I start??? errrmm, ah yes, one nasty Russian (but well built)millitary RB, nasty in the way it can, no WILL kill me if used as is, a couple of larger cylinders (which I have somewhere), bits of pipe and fittings, some bits of wire and old voltmeters.....,oh! and lots of spare time hopefully it will be a bit more conventional than the "Dyson with Death" http://www.yorkshire-divers.co.uk/fo...ighlight=dyson that I put together earlier this year.
