Ah, now that you mention it, Colin may have raised the very point.

Yep, I've stripped it down and it's the PTFE (PTFE? Like the tape?) cone which wobbles as and when required. I don't know what I did to fix it, but stripping it down, cleaning and careful attention seems to have fixed it. Strange. Needs a new diaphragm anyway though, the one on there isn't far from leaking.

I did get a bit of variation on the cells, probably moisture then by the sounds of things. Is there a good way to lie them down? I'm presuming at the moment standing up is it's favourite position (cue pervy comment) as the cells are facing downwards, but this isn't always possible!

Anyhow, more to come as she becomes my baby...

Digs.

Ohh standing up is definitely best, but if you do have to lay her down then make sure it's face first otherwise the big O-ring round the sh!t pipe might get too much of a wobbling...

erm.... I think that was a post about rebreathers..

Do you mean your age or the unit age? If you mean the unit you might want to find out what number Mark Henries, the skipper of Hjalmar Borge based in Oban dives on. I know he was on a kiss before most people had heard of them! Company is called Northern light charters

I think I'm definitely the youngest diver with the oldest unit! I know units 1-20 are older, and are out there being dived (or at least most are) I meant whether I was the youngest diver on one really. Would just be nice to have something with "...in the world" on the CV!

And some knowledge of how rebreathers work. That is what sets Gordon apart from a lot of people, not only is he a highly skilled engineer but a well experienced RB diver.

[quote=wreckweasel]The O2 swapped sides from unit 69, actually. /quote]

Don't see the problem really..

Just swap the tanks round which ever way. Mine is unit #115 and O2 is on the left
