| Heliox electronics for the KISS Following on from another thread... Just wondering what's happening with the Heliox system at the moment. They're website is down and I was keeping half an eye on it. I definitely want a HUD (am also considering Uri's system) and integrated deco / monitoring is nice. But I would quite happily be without the parachute solenoid, as I can't see myself using it, but I can see it failing. I'm still new on the unit, so I'm not going to rush out and make mods, but I was wondering what others are currently thinking (I know we've done this a bit before). Janos

Do you know if I am right in thinking that the HUD a one LED system, and that you can chose the ppO2 range for the different colours? Janos

As to he user settable, I'm not sure, but I think it's mre like Uri's i.e. user specifiable at time of purchase rather then user settable. r Paul

I had a look and it has good back up options assuming it works... The LED is a single with Tricolour I'm not sure how you change the settings but the site said it was possible. But the tachyon is dry port so no extra holes in the unit which is always good. Yes a backup timer is needed but wouldn't you carry that in any diving??? but at least the tables are going to be printable so no need to change to another if they are any good..... The parachute valve is adjustable but it doesnt say how?? I agree might be best just to leave it off.. Apart from that will it ever make production as it does seem to have gone quite on the western front a bit!!
