Thumbs up New addition to the family.....

Well I collected (and paid for) my Classic KISS on Saturday. Digger very kindley came along for the ride and gave the thumbs up on it. I now own #051, Zepps younger sibling. Its all there including a SS portland frame with stand, a wing + BP, 2 5ltr Cylinders, spares and heeps of spheresorb.

On Sunday Digger showed me some of the ropes as we took it for a dive in Capernwray. I need to sort out my trim and weighting before I can proceed but it works, its a nice thing to dive and after a thorough clean / des-infectant by the previous owner, it tasts absolutely fowl!!! I suppose I can console myself that it didn't try and kill me and I won't have any serious respiratory problems with anything growing in there, but now I just need to grow a whole new set of taste buds after the dive and organise a course in the near future.

Don't the manufacturer's instructions say that's exactly what it is trying to do?

It's a rebreather - of course it tried to kill you, you just probably didn't notice
