Get away to St Abbs.

Hi all,

I`m on holiday this week and have decided to take a drive up to St Abbs, anyone doing some midweek shore diving i could join in with. I`ll probably be going up tomorrow (tues), then back on friday if i can get some dives in?!

I`m RD only 25 dives in log book, but happy in my abilities.

Hate to tell you this mate but its blowing its tits off up here at the moment. I dunno what the sea is doing maybe give Amanda a phone and see if it is worth it! 018907 71669.

If i can get up there evenings i would love to come for a dip, but will have to see what the other half is doing for a lift.

Hi Porg,

just gave aquastars a buzz and they cancelled diving today, but things are looking up the next couple of days he hopes!

Just checked the webcam on their site and it looks pretty quiet...in a seastate sort of way!

Nothing better to do anyway, so i`ll probably risk it for a swiscuit

If you look in the planned trips section, you'll see that there are some people diving on Thursday and Friday as a warm up to the St Abbs weekend bash. It looks like there's space on the boat on Thursday if you're interested. Not sure when you are leaving on Friday.

I`ll probably be leaving by midday on friday as i have a twinset try dive to do that evening. Hope to catch some of you there.

Well just been checking all the weather...looks like my trip is off (ok Porg you told me so). Oh well thanks anyway.

The sea is actually pretty flat at the moment (having died off during the day). I was getting a lift home off the other half and his pager went off. A kite surfer had got into difficulties and muggins here had to go along too. We watched him get picked up by the lifeboat and deposited on the beach.

its me thats doing the thur/fri at st sbbs

spoke to billy today and he thinks it should let up in a few days

anyway if its off the pubs going to get billys money!

things allways look better through the bottom of a glass!!

but i hope we all go diving though!

we'll have to do one of those tribal dance things for good weather!

and i bet my neighbours wouldnt call the police if they saw me dancing round my garden with something frilly on my head and nothing else!

it would more likley to be the men in white coats with a straight jacket!

i wounder if i could escape from one underwater! now there's a thought!
