| Hi Ali, I'll be back in Cheshire for Xmas and wouldn't mind getting a few dives in over the holidays to play around with the trim on my twins. I've never dived Capernwray before, not least because it costs £17.50 for the first day and frankly I'd rather spend that kind of money on a boat charter! Do you (or anyone else for that matter) fancy a day at Hodge Close on or around the 23rd instead? Rick. (BSAC DL, twinset newbie). |

| £17.50 Ouch Hi Rick, I just checked out the Cape site and it says: New members who are already qualified divers will register fully on their first visit and will be charged £7.50, but this also includes one free weekday entry. Why not email them and ask if you can use the free day the day you register? They can only say no! There web site is www.dive-site.co.uk I love Hodge Close but it's a little too far for the 23rd I'm affraid. Cheers, Ali

| AFAIK you have to pay the £10 fee in addition to your registration - otherwise everyone would re-register every time they went to save £2.50! Quote:
That's the nice thing about Vivian, they let you in free if you flash your instructor card... |

| I'm off work on Thursday, so I could be up for a bimble around Capernwray, if you like. Just let me know. On joining you will receive a pass which allows one free weekday entry, which can't be used on the day of issue , or on a Wednesday evening ( when thay do wednesday evenings of course ), hope that clears it up for people. All the best ColinM
