Cyprus and the Zenobia

I am looking at arranging a trip to Cyprus with the aim of diving the Zenobia, one of the best wrecks in the world. I wanted to get some feedback on the amount of interest and peoples preferences on the details of the trip.

Take a look at the options and let me know if you would be interested and if so what sort of trip would suit you best. Please note that there are multiple options on the poll, some for length of trip and some for the timing of the trip.

Here is some infor on the Zenobia

We would be diving with Rob Jones's dive centre, Dive-Tek Cyprus.

The seabed is at 42 and the highest point is at 16m. It's quite practical to dive it in the 30-35m range. So Padi Advanced Open Water, BSAC Sports, SAA Club Diver or TDI Advanced Nitrox would be the minimum.

Not sure of the cost yet, it will depend on the length of the trip.

I'd be interested in a long weekend trip if the cost was reasonable.

Laraca is probably the closest airport to Protarus (where the Dive Centre is). As I remember it's about an 1 hr to 1.5 hr drive from the airport. The Zenobia is just outside Larnaca harbour and looks to be about 3/4 hr run to it from Protarus harbour.

It's an awesome wreck - I did a few dives on it just after I did my AOW so would love to revisit it

Definitely would be interested as a weekend or long weekend trip as the last time I was in Cyprus I was taking my open water course and obviously could not dive that deep - It's one of my must do dives - just hope the cost can be kept reasonably low
