Thanks Neil

Just a brief report as it was Stoney.........

Neil fell for the "I know my way around Stoney" line and let me navigate. So you can imagine the rest.......Down the road, along the edge to find the bus. Only Steve S was at Stoney and he moved the bus, or something, so on reaching the far wall I knew where I was but not where I wanted to be. So a bimble (lovely word that) around the far side. Oh the life around there was amazing, yup nowt.
Dive two was a drop on to the Stanegarth-can't miss the damn thing that way , quick lap of honour and trip inside, along the anchor chain and find the chopper. Some skills-mid water, i.e. no visual ref, dsmb deployment all good. Neil drained his cylinders -on purpose to test his buoyancy at 6m. Which seemed fineish.
Viz at Stoney is now about 7m even in the parts that trainees fear to fin, so no point going back until next winter now. Well unless I am free midweek and Phil's shortie is ready to go

So thanks to Neil to being available at short notice.

you can't prove 'nuffink good to meet you both, and fear not the dive time was exactly 24mins, according to my computor

Safe diving,
Steve

Thanks for the dives Ian, a good day out during which I learnt new hand signals for "the bus is just over there but I think we'd be much better off exploring the walls of the quarry which are teaming with life over here"
