Stoney 5th - 6th June

Anyone fancy a couple of dives up at Stoney on Monday or Tuesday

It's still my first UK dive as i have mainly dived in the Canaries Islands where i have just done all my training to AOW. I am a new diver with only 15 dives under my belt and need to get some practice in and see what i am missing in the UK.

Going to be diving in my 6.5mm Semi Dry which should be ok and i will be hiring a 15ltr cylinder at Stoney when i get on site..

Anyone need any more info from me let me know. If you want come along or can let me tag along let me know so i can get everything arranged.

Thanks
Simon

I'll be up there with my wife and son on Tuesday, probably getting there mid morning. We'll be in a purple Galaxy in the disabled spot near the pub (my wife is disabled and has a blue badge). Drop along and say hello if you see us.

Good luck with your first UK dives! I'm sure you'll love it and it's not as cold as you'd imagine!

Talking of cold, went in wearing me semi today and my buddy 9in a dry bag) called the dive because she was cold...!

My hands were a little on the crisp side but torso and legs were toasty and I didn't even have anything on underneath

Well, some shorts - stop blushing girls

Why did you do that when you have a perfectly serviceable dry suit?

If the weather stays like this for tomorrow, then the semi-dry should be great. I don't have much choice as only got a semi-dry for now. Might get a rash vest at Stoney while i am there
