Saturday Evening Dinner / Presentations
Hot buffet with puds and starters (menu below). Costs will be no more than £20 per head and this will include the hire of the function room and the buffet. There will probably be a couple of quid per head left over (aiming for £15 for buffet and £100 overall for the room) and I propose that this goes to offset the bar bill (bar in the function room) or provide some drinks FoC.
2 weeks notice is required for numbers so anyone who still has their name on the list after the 3 November will be expected to pay the £15 for their meal.
Menu is as follows:
STARTERS:-
Leek & potato soup
Melon with a couli sauce
Pate with melba toast
MAINS:-
- Salmon with dill mash, & a melody of asparagus & cauliflower with a tarragon & mushroom sauce
- Chicken with white wine sauce with seasonal vegetables served with sauté potatoes
Vegetarian- Roasted peppers filled with goats cheese & a melody of vegetables with new potatoes & broccoli
DESSERTS:-
Tower of profiteroles served with chocolate sauce or
cream sticky toffee pudding with a creamy toffee sauce
If you have any specific dietary requirements please let me as soon as possible, by either PM or email, and I will forward those onto the Mill on the Soar to sort out.
Presentations:
1. Clare Gledhill, MC and GUE Conference 2006
2. Rich Walker, DIR UK Donegal
3. Bob Cooper, Cave Diving Around Europe
