I'm guessing this is going to be ok to dive with a semi-dry? I'm leaving my drysuit to dry properly for Swanage on Friday.

Took a mate in last week in a wetsuit and he was fine.

Ive never dived in a drysuit and the coldest ive been is in December when my fingers went slightly blue...

its lovely at the moment in a semi

lack of funds...im only just paying off rob for all my other kit! Ive got an overdraft the size of big ben to pay off....and a new car to buy! i have priorities....and a dry suit is at the bottom at the moment...i can dive in a semi and will be able to until november comfortably....so it will wait until then...a car however, is needed asap.

Dave the water was about 17 degrees last week a semi might be too warm for you

Water was indeed lovely and warm last week. A toasty 18degC but I would still have preferred it remained outside my suit

Has anyone got a thin hood I could try on wed pm? Please (I probably need a medium less than 5mm.)

Anna, I have a spare Waterproof Hydra that you're welcome to try. It's a combination 3/5mm and in large though (although a small large...if that makes sense).
