Welcome to YD.. being in leeds your quite local to a fair few of us so I imagine you'll not have any problems getting buddied up... if you check out all of the posts you'll see we are quite active and arrange quite a few meets...

Let people know a little more about yourself, and lob some dates and venues in the pot and see what occurs

I'm a bit far from you Richard (Gateshead) for joining your club, but am happy to lend a hand if you guys need extra Instructors (been CI for a few years, in process of collecting sigs for OWI). Plus, I'll be wanting to finish off my AD next year just need theory exam and Rescue assessment, (done all required the SDCs), perhaps we could come to some mutual arrangement?

Thanks for the offer. I tend to get involved in doing the SDC's for the branch (as the only AI in the branch), but I'm taking a back seat from training for a while due to imminent arrival of junior no. 2.

And I'm a minute off junc 39 on the M1 (Wakefield) so am about 15 mins away. I (used to) dive often with Andy2tanx - can easily fit another little 'un in the car next dive trip.
