Swanage Thursday 16th
Divers Down are planning, weather permitting, to go to the Bettsy Anna tomorrow but at the moment they only have 2 names (Edward and myself) The fallback plan is the Kyarra if it's too windy.
Ropes off 12.30 for the Betsy
followd by
15.30 for a scallop drift

Anyone fancy joining us?

As Vonny says there's a bit of a breeze at the moment!!!! My bins have been blown all over the lawn and I'm sure I saw Dorothy's house flying off to Kansas on my way home last night.

The winds are currently about a steady 15 - 20mph with gusts up to 35mph south-westerlies and should drop to around 12mph westerlies by tomorrow.

Damn, damn, damn! Sitting in the bar at Wraysbury and my phone range, it was Pete from Divers down proving PV and Scuttler right..... no diving tomorrow. Not sure which is worse, no diving or PV being right . Ah well a lie in tomorrow methinks.

Could be worse pete, I'm at work. didn't seem worth wasting the leave

Just think, I could have been vomiting to the limit on a boat in the channel, and instead I'm at my desk. And weirdly, I'd rather be vomiting

And I dived in a semidry last night to keep my undersuit dry for today, all for no reason. Arse.

Oh well, we'll just have to arrange a re-match..
