AND mine ain't no "girly torch" It's the Alsation's kahunas

Me thinks the lady doth protest too much

I think the beam on the salvo is much tighter than the greenforce. Can't say I noticed the "yellow" it starts of bluish until it reaches temperature....then it's very white....in fact I thought yours was yellow.....maybe it was the particulate. ho hum.

Nah, mine was lovely and white and, as I have 3 bulbs, I expect the beam is wider. As for 'particulate' there was a lot of that when you attacked that poor wee crayfish

That "poor" thing is a signal crayfish and is almost single-handedly responsible for wiping out our indigenous crayfish.

Defra, UK - Fisheries - Salmon and freshwater fisheries - Crayfish

The signal crayfish is quite capable of walking overland in its search for a home, it will rapidly colonise freshwater sites and can not only competitively exclude our native crayfish, but it also carries a fungal disease, the crayfish plague, to which the native crayfish has no defence. In addition to the potential impact on native crayfish, the signal crayfish has also been shown to have detrimental effects on other native fauna in British waters. Anglers too find them a nuisance as they take their bait and burrow into river banks.

DEFRA. So Fin will along soon to advise us on the best course of action, if any

Mind you, I heard there was another outbreak of foot and mouth in Surrey so he will be a busy boy. He may even have to cut his diving down to only 10 hours a week

EDIT : Having read your link I'm not so sure that was a signal crayfish
Also ........... Urgh ! While they're lovely underwater they look like a creepy crawly on land

Well, I couldn't make it thanks to the delight of the M1 and M25 in the end, but I did commit to the money, so let me know where it's to be sent to and I'll make sure they get it.

Soz you couldn't make it.

Just send a cheque or use YD postal to get it to Arthur at Wraysbury (or call him and make your own arrangement).

The money can be paid into my bank account and I'll give it to Arthur if you like?
