I'll see how it goes and may look at organising a YD gig out there next year if the bank balance will allow it and if enough people are interested....

I did a few dives before I hurt my back on the Bergen route. My favourite was "The Stonker", it's not the real name, but Gorden will know what you mean. An absolutely friggin' enormous wreck at about 45 degrees, going from just below the surface to about 60m. - nice gun at about 45m. Another good dive apparently (i didn't do it) is the Parrat and Ferndale. Friend of mine was at 15m, and he could see all the others on the bottom, with the streams of bubbles going all the way to the surface (think the bottom was about 60 odd meters, but I may be wrong, cos I didn't do the dive.)

Another very atmospheric dive, according to thise who did it, was the "skull wreck", it wasn't particularly deep, but apparently was very spooky.

One word of caution, don't be decieved by the "easiness" of the diving. We met up with Gealic Rose one day, just as they were having a diver airlifted with a bend. Apparently they had been doing two 50m dives a day - on air

One last thing, don't expect too much from the Jane R, she's a practical diving platform, not a 5 star floating hotel!

Have a good trip

D

PS - The depths I have quoted are all from memory (about 4 years ago, with no log book) so they may not be totally accurate - don't plan your dive on them!!
