FFS - what a crappy day

I bought myself a few new things on Boxing Day .... cos I didn't get any Christmas or Birthday gifts

new lap top - doesn't connect to the wireless LAN so i have to send it back
2 x underwater wands - one was the wrong colour, so I have to send that back
Then I decided they would not be much use anyway because of the way you have to switch them on. So I'll send both back
New drysuit seal - may not be ready for Sunday's dive
Did the shop bother to tell me? No, he promised I'd have it for Friday when I dropped it off. When I called to check they still didn't know if I could pick it up tomorrow

I bought two new octopi and a gauge and a few odd bits - I hope they all work

OK - rant over, have a good weekend everyone

Not Diving :(

Hello ,
thanks to every one I dived with (cheers Howard) and said hello to last Wednesday,
unfortunately I put my Inspiration together on Sunday and found a 1st stage Over Pressure Valve was leaking ,
on connecting the suit hose to gauge I found the 1st stage intermediate pressure creeping up, when it got passed 20bar I turned of the tank ( I cannot afford 3 new hoses!) and gave up.
It only went for a service 2 weeks ago!
Probably some grit etc. on the seat, but back to the shop...
Managed to do the dive, as with some adjustment the regulator could be made to hold 15 bar IP (with the OPV leaking like mad) though chugged 70 bar of diluent on a 50minute dive :$ (the regulator, not me!)
Unless the shop fixes it in under 30 mins, I won't be diving tomorrow,
Will

Just to re-iterate .... Wraysbury is currently offering a late night opening on the, usual, Wednesday once a month until some time in March.

The next late night opening, out of the water by 21:00, is ........

Wednesday 13th February - Valentines Eve

1. Sixsquid (mebbe)
2. PeeBee (mebbe)
3. Spacehopper (mebbe)
4. DSD (more than likely) if the drysuit is back from repair
5. Sailorbuoy (almost definitely)
6.

However, if anyone is keen to dive at Wraysbury during the day on a Wednesday this is probably a good place to mention it
