Big Si has the biggest light this side of south coast lighthouses and all of us that venture to Wraysbury have a great sense of humour but you're pushing it with the "sense of direction"

In the interest of encouraging a cheerful & romantic Valentines Eve I have replaced Venus' angry emoticon with some lurve

Wednesday 13th February - Valentines Eve

Diving

1. Spacehopper (mebbe)
2. DSD (more than likely) if the drysuit is back from repair
3. Sailorbuoy yes
4. Spunkmire

Visiting

1. Sixsquid, buying a beer for Sailorbuoy
2. PeeBee (mebbe) _ Pretty sure PeeBee is overseas
3. Venus - wander down after gym _ she may be wandering but I'm pretty sure she's not diving

I've separated divers from social animals to assist those looking to come along for a dive and wanting a buddy

yes lack of pressure on the pedal cos it was still on the accelerator. wouldn't be so bad if it din't have ABS but ABS gebnerally means that you can steer out of problems without losing control. I can do it, and have quite a few times when confronted with a MLM who decides that a change of lane without signalling would be a good thing.

I've just seen your "will it get written off?" thread and I'm sorry to see how severe this accident was. I hope Mrs DSD is okay and not suffering any trauma Stories of the damage these collapsible cars take makes me happy I'm in a Disco. Although I've never had any kind of accident/crash it's assuring to know I'm in a solid vehicle. Mind you, it's still too expensive for me to run
Hugs to the DSD family and see you soon

They are only doing what they are supposed to , the crumple zones are designed to protect the occupants from transmitted force, this often means though that the amount of damage in a collision seems excessive.

Well I'm sure she was processing a variety of input and perhaps, at the time, there wasn't an obvious direction to steer 'into'. Like maybe there was something her brain had decided she shouldn't hit and consequently chose the lesser of the evils. Or she didn't want something/someone flying across the other side of the car.

Just good to know everyone is okay

You mean like singing along to the radio, whilst dancing, thinking what an excellen hubby DSD is and how she can reward him on Valentine's day, applying make up, planning dinner, mulling over the socio-economic problems in the day's soap operas, and what housework is left to do.... and other such girly tasks (stir stir stir stir ;D)?

1. Big_Si... Still recovering for the lurgy. Was enough of a struggle going to Tesco just now I'll save the hugs for Sixy, Venus and anyone else who wants one for next time I'm down.
