I'm supposed to be picking up a bottle from Digger.

Is Wraysbury going to be open late, now the clocks have gone back and its dark at 5pm?

Yes, they're still doing every Wednesday evening, as long as the demand is there (other people are still going, not just YDers). They will close at somepoint, but, again, if demand is there they may revert to the once a month thing. I'm seeing them tonight, so will check for you for future dates, but as for tomorrow night, YES it is open late.

I went to the puddle last night and chatted with Jo about Wednesday evenings.

None of this is confirmed, because they've not decided for sure, but she's suspecting they'll do THREE more Wednesday evening's (including tonight) and after that they'll do one a month as long as the demand is there. They need a minimum of 15 divers for it to be worthwhile staying open. There are other people who use it, so it wouldn't necessarily be down to us to keep it open. Another club has been voicing they want it open all the time.

The once a month Wednesday evening will then be in December, January, Feb and March, with the thought of going back to weekly towards the end of March time.

Next week, I'll get more details from Jo and Richard to see if they've decided this for sure and then post giving dates so people can plan round it.

I'm afraid WeeDee and I won't be there now. Dude did PM to mention he didn't fancy diving in this frosty weather too!!! Brrrr! (Certainly was interesting cycling in it!)

Sending Jaye's suit off for nice new boots! Spoken with the lovely drysuitrepair Dave and it's being boxed and sent today or tomorrow. Once it's back, we'll be in the water as often as is possible!!!!

Well, I need to build up Jaye's diving hours over the winter so we'll be there. However, my navigation is pants and I really want to dive a three for a few months until she's got more confidence and experience, so as long as there's enough people prepared to dive with us both in the dark puddle, then count us in most weeks, ok??? She should have full kit up and running by the end of this weekend so we'll be raring to go.

Now, who's the first to be in a threesome with mother and daughter in Wraysbury??? (Diving, people, diving....she's only 13! )

Same age as my son!!! - If I could only get his drysuit back!!!
