Just got in from another really good night at Wraysbury.

Thanks to the staff there, apart from Arthur cos he's mean to me! I'd like to think he was joking, but there is some truth to his comments so I'll take it like a man!!!

Speshul thanks go to Scubee first off for being a great buddy. Holding on to me when I got floaty feet and generally being a great bimbler and buddy.

Thanks to Fin for being a real gent on the surface! What a star! Fin, you sure you weren't a woman in a previous life!?!!? Very thoughtful and kind. Got out to help me with my fins and then swam over to me to check I had no "mop" caught up in the mask. Truly kind!! Fanks a million!

And Puddle Dude. One day I may get to meet your alter ego THE Dude, but Puddle Dude is still a great guy!

Oh and thanks to PeeBee for showing me the better way home! You're a Give that a go next time!

Nice to see the others, Sailorbuoy, Sixy, Venus, Spacehopper, DSD and Ian not in his famous dry suit! - this is where the age starts to show cos the memory's going!?!? Um, think that's it??? IF I've forgotten anyone I didn't mean to!

Oh and thanks to Mini-Dazs, for being the key keeper (not the one from Ghostbusters, I hasten to add!!). She's a very patient daughter whilst her Mum goes off for a dive! She's turning into a fairly good kit biatch too!! Oh, and Dude, she wasn't Christened Mini-Dazs, ok???? Her real name is Jaye!!!

And if anyone's interested, ask what Sailorbuoy forgot when he started his descent on his second dive with Sixy!!!! I'm not the one to spill the beans, but I think it's his turn for the Muppet award! Perhaps we can create another Muppet avatar to share around weekly for the muppet of the week/month?????? Rich's was a good 'un!

We love our PADI clubs and our BSAC clubs etc, but I think that the YD club is by far the most fun one!

And a final thanks (blimey I feel like Gwynneth Paltrow accepting an Oscar here!) to the Weather Gods for making today so beautiful! What a difference it makes to the mood of a dive, eh???

Ooh someone please tell...!

I am hoping (fingers crossed, touch wood, etc) that I will be able to come and play next week; will have to sort out undersuit etc as much as I loved that walm fleecy thing I got I just can manage to carry the extra 9 kg (on top of my usual 10kg) required to make me sink!!!

Oh go on what did Rich do? Was it to turn his air on??

Glad you enjoyed the dive

Also glad you found your way home - I usually come a slightly different way, but as PeeBee has insisted his way was shorted and quicker I decided to give it a go. I have to say that if one way is shorter or quicker, it is a miniscule amount .

Someone is running up a bar bill and forgot to pay...it was hugely tempting to put a few more beers on it

Thanks to YD post, i got a turn on a single tank wing, and decided I now need to complete the shopping. One or tow other issues arose which may need some thinking about, but on the whole, I felt much better in the water than when i had all my lead on the harness. Thanks, Ian for the loan.

It was really nice to see everyone up there tonight.

Nice to see everybody and yes I would of liked to get in the water- but not really enough time for a dip.

An interesting night talking about courses and kit

Scubee - sounds like the wing worked well .

Thanks to Howard for the potential loan of a drysuit- sorry I'm not 6ft 7 to do it justice.

Rich - looks like it might be the wrist seals and not just the valve- pressure test at home me thinks.

Pete have a great time in SA.

Gareth - we must catch up about things when you get back.

Six- hope the PC gets fixed soon and that we get to go diving again together.

Hogen-deifar- glad you had fun and nice to see you too.

Venus- always a pleasure.

Best wishes all

Ian

Ps Six- I will email you a pic of Abby - 6weeks old already
