I used to use mine for my reel but it irritated me the way it banged against teh back of my legs and is annoying when trying to sit down back on the boat. I've heard they're typically used for scooters so they just float above and behind? Is that right?

I'd love to have a go on a scooter but I have more cave training to do yet. If the butt ring is used for a scooter I think you'll find that's for the back up scooter on cave penetration where is will 'float' behind secured in some way Of course I could just use it to keep my buddy in his place
