I quite like it multi coloured, but the selected colours are a little difficult to see properly.

Could you use different colours next time please Scutt?

Fantastic day at Wrayspuddle today!! YD'ers galore!!!

Helen and I arrived at Wraysbury bright and early at 1100 with the mission of getting comfortable in the water again. Me after my previous excitement, and Her after a lay off from diving for about 16 months.

Plan for the day was just to get in the water and practice buoyancy stuff for Helen and for me to get relaxed.

Mission was accomplished! Helen was FANTASTIC!!! After 30 minutes on top of one of the containers at about 7m. Practicing nice flat trim, finning up and down the box with no contact, ascending a metre at a time. Helen was great!

2nd dive she did fantastically and after a few minutes with Sixsquid and Annatrnr playing on top of the container we all went on a mission to the bus. Circled it... in oneside and out the other.... Swim the length inside... The up we went, 5m ascent in free water with Helen, stopping every meter.

I was really impressed with her and we've just celebrated her return to diving with Chinese and a lovely bottle of wine I prechilled in the hope it would go well!!

Whilst sunning ourself throughout the day saw LOADS of YD'ers!
Sixsquid, Annatrnr, Venus, Nomis, Esprit Diver, Puddle dude, Juz (thanks for the beer! ), Digger, Rob Dobson, Fin, Ferrets... Ummm.... Sorry if I miss anyone out!

Great day!!

I look forward to next week

I've got a bundle of photos too... Some of which could be photo caption comp entries.

Lots of fun tonight, good to see the usual crowd and meet up with RichieG for a dive.

My borrowed suit leaked and was probably two sizes too small. 5mm gloves mean you cannot feel anything-can't wait for my suit to be back on friday with my drygloves. Cuff dump- just like the old days and boots 2 sizes down from what I normally use- still at least it wasn't a wetsuit.

So Richie and I went for a dive- joined by a friend of mine Ian - trying out a twinset and getting his kit configured. Once I had sized his harness and sorted out a little thing or two on his kit then we were off.

With only 90bar in a set of twins was never going to be a long dive but we got 45mins of s drills, bag deploy and shutdowns - trying to do a shutdown in a suit that is too small and lacks any give was always going to be interesting but no really problem - guess it must of looked ok as well.

Ian played around and watched Richie and I do some drills then we all went for a trip around the lake platforms and boat.

Out of the water and into the cafe- excellent chilli as usual and the usual chit -chat around the table. Great to see everybody, Six, Venus, Howard,Annatrnr, Nomis, Esprit Diver, Puddle dude, Juz, Digger, Rob Dobson, Fin- sorry if I missed anybody.

Great fun had by all
