Doesn't look promising does it!! I was wolen up several times during the night with the wind (and it wasn't the wife or dogs)

Turbs and I went diving Tuesday night in the wind and rain! (And bloody freezing it was, too.)

And it was in the proper sea, in the dark, with waves and currents and naval shipping and fish and stuff. Not one of your poncey, cop-out, 'might as well dive in a swimming pool' inland sites (devil's avocado mode off).

I have no problem with diving while it's snowing - it's getting stuck on the pennines or unable to get home again that I'm not so keen on!

Yeah well if there was a salty site near me that I could guarantee a few dives in with reasonable vis so we could at least try to practice skills 'n' stuff and somewhere for a nice brew and bacon sarnie - then I'd be there

As it is I'd rather have a poncey cop-out dip and get some practice than no dip at all

If there was the slightest chance of me being able to make the round trip I would!

It would be good to get a dive or two in outside the course, but I'm not sure whether I'll be able to manage that yet. Would be a shame not to if I'm down there anyway!
