I've just borrowed a twin set off a mate of mine (which I want buy off him really) and I need to have a practice and fiddle about with and take some pointers off someone with a twinnie. What do you dive?

At the moment I can do Saturday or Sunday.

Graham

I should be there on Sunday with Moz. We'll both have twins (various!) with us and are always happy to chat. We'll be doing a bunch of skills stuff mainly, but if you two want to buddy up for the day you're welcome to tag along and then go off to do your own thing when you get bored

Sounds good, if I can tag along and get some advice in the process, don't mind about doing any lengthy dives as I want to see if I'm comfortable with the set. So far its no problem getting it on and walking around the garden and bending to pick stuff up. Weighting may be a slight issue.

Will keep in touch....thanks Graham

What twins are they? I only ask because I've got a set of ECS that I'm sorting out weighting for that are almost empty and we could look at swapping around to play with weighting without you having to drain yours.

Also are they already full or are you getting a fill beforehand?

They are standard Faber 12's with MDE manifold, custom diver wing and he also had the regs. I normally just dive with a 15 and pony so I'd probably bring these also. As for air I don't mind using the twins as they are full and he recently had the whole rig tested.

Ok fair enough. I'm sure we can sort something out - just bring your weightbelt and some weights along with you

Ta, attached to the harness are 2 small weight pouches and a larger gear pouch, so if necessary I could put weights in the small ones. I mainly use a Bowstone shot weight belt with loose shot inside, but I have a few spare shot pouches lying around.

It would probably be easier to start out with a belt to mess about with the amount of weight you need. Then you can think about where to put it to address any trim/comfort issues.

Sadly I don't have one, so I may have to borrow one! As mentioned, mine is loose shot. I'm sure it'll be sorted though.
