As Colin says, it's a Grumman Avenger and the engine can be dived.
We looked at the engine last summer. It is near the youth hostel end.

My circumstances are as follows:

I will be there about 10-ish (hopefully) provided that:

1. I get my drysuit back on Tuesday from having some drysocks put on;
2. The cold I'm currently threatening to develop gets no worse;
3. My shoulder stops hurting (never play water polo against Russians);
4. The mild dose of the shits I've had since Egypt abates

I'll update again on Tuesday!
