May 26th B/H Portsmouth Area

Does anyone have a trip out anywhere on this Bank Holiday Monday, who is looking for an extra who can join up for the day ?

Ideally it would be in the Selsey area, or Portsmouth/IoW....

It would be just myself, as I am visiting a friend for the weekend, and it would be nice to get a south coast dive on the Monday, but I would need to join an existing trip, and would not have a buddy with me.

Thanks!

Try Mulberry Divers<"National Geographic Diving PADI West Sussex"> I haven't been with them yet, but have had some e-mail banter and they seem a friendly lot. On the date you mention they have a couple of dives organized with an odd number booked so far so you may well have a ready made buddy. Good luck, I would like to join in, but my brownie points will be used up on the Saturday.

Lightbulb Might be worth a try.........

I live in Portsmouth, but I unfortunately I don't have anything planned for the moment
You could try these guys: The Dive Connection
They have a "planned dives" section on the site, nice bunch of people too.

They use, or possibly operate, the boat Wightdiver. We used the boat a couple of years ago for a trip out to the U90. Seemed like very nice guys but they happily took our money for a trip to a wreck they didn't have the marks for! Apparently the actual location is a fair distance from the published marks and so, despite surveying the area once we arrived, they were never going to find it. They suggested we try the UB81 but dropped us in with a fair current running and only about half the divers made it on to the wreck. no one was particularly impressed. There is, I believe, a trip report on here. The trip was organised by Lou.

That said, there may well be people with nice things to say about them

Cheers/Nic
